HTTP Live Streaming(HLS) With VAST by Using Fluid Player

Today, I wanted to put ads on my live streaming something like Youtube. After spending a couple of moments I found  Adsterra which provides a VAST tag for videos and live streams.  I was using Clappr which is a Javascript library for HLS-based live streaming. When I realized that I should put ads on my live stream to generate some revenue from my website then I started exploring the ads feature of Clappr . I saw there are some plugins available for Clappr which can add this feature to Clappr but unfortunately, all those are outdated and their developers are not supported them.  https://github.com/va-an/clappr-vast-ad-plugin https://github.com/mycujoo/clappr-vast-plugin https://github.com/va-an/clappr-vast-ad-plugin I gave a try to all these outdated plugins but unfortunately, those didn't work because of version incompatibility.   Then I contact Adsterra technical support to help me. Fair review of owncast

In this article, I want to write my thoughts about Owncast.  Owncast is a free, open-source, self-hosted and independent streaming server which can be connected to existing broadcasting software like OBS(Open Broadcasting Software). It has so many awesome features like: Chat and chat moderation Admin panel for controlling the stream Embedding into your own website Third-party integration by using Rest APIs Clean and organized documentation Easily install and setup etc. These the good point which can find everywhere on the internet but the main agenda of this article is to share my experience with you. I will start with the drawbacks. The very 1st drawback is its supports a single stream. If you want to run another stream concurrently then you will need to install another copy of owncast on another server.
